The Bernards Township School District is a comprehensive community public school district, serving students in Kindergarten through twelfth grade from Bernards Township in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States.
As of the 2008-09 school year, the district's six schools had an enrollment of 5,617 students and 462.4 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.1.[1]
Awards and recognition
During the 2009-10 school year, Ridge High School was awarded the Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the United States Department of Education, the highest award an American school can receive.[3] The school had also won the award for the 1986-87 school year.
